Both IDF (International Dairy Federation) and AOAC INTERNATIONAL (Association of Official Analytical Chemists) have approved the Mid (IR) technology for milk analysis. An easy-to-use instrument for milk and cream analysis

DMA makes it possible to analyse milk and cream for fat, protein, lactose, SNF and dry matter content using only one sample. All these components are measured in one step. No chemicals are used in analyses with the help of the instrument MIRIS Dairy Milk Analyser. The results are presented within 60 seconds. The instrument is therefore a real time-saver. Outstanding features of the instrument include that it is small, robust and easy to operate and that it is designed for use directly on the production line or in the dairy laboratory as an on-line instrument for production management.

MIRIS Dairy Milk Analyser integrates a tested and certified analysis method (infrared spectroscopy) combined with a new and unique technique (patent-pending). The instrument has high analysis precision with a measuring range that covers everything from skim milk to cream (50% fat). It is calibrated at the factory and you only need to perform a level check and reset it. All you are left to do is to inject the sample into the analysis device and press start. The results are presented directly on the display to two decimals and can easily be transferred to a computer.
