Both IDF (International Dairy Federation) and AOAC INTERNATIONAL (Association of Official Analytical Chemists) have approved Mid IR technology for milk analyses. An easy-to-use instrument for analysis of milk and cream
From only one sample, the DMA analyzes milk and cream for fat, protein, lactose, SNF and dry matter contents. All of the components are measured in one step. No chemicals are used in analyses by MIRIS Dairy Milk Analyzer. The results are presented within 60 seconds— a real time-saver. Outstanding features of the instrument include that it is small, robust and easy to operate and designed for use directly on the production line or in the dairy laboratory as an on-line instrument for production management. MIRIS Dairy Milk Analyzer integrates a tested and certified analysis method (mid IR) in combination with a new, unique technique (patent-pending). The instrument has high accuracy with a measuring range that covers everything from low-fat milk to cream (50% fat). It is calibrated at the factory and you only need to perform a level control and set to zero. What remains is to inject the sample and press start. The results are presented directly on the display to two decimals and can easily be transferred to a computer.
